  1. Hi domesticdivaMD, Wow! I am honored that you would look at my post. You are witty, educated beyond the norm and down to earth which makes an incredible combination. Can you explain how all of this works and if I am being naive about why I occasionally get emails from completely unrelated bloggers who like my post?

    1. Actually, I found your blog posts about the pumpkin cheesecake and the faux crab cakes and thought they looked delicious- I thought I’d follow you to see what other recipes you post in the future! πŸ™‚ I normally look through the tags or pinterest to find other good recipes.

And honestly I am quite horrible at dating and pretty much anything that isn’t housewifery or medicine…I might be doomed. Don’t think I’m that accomplished. πŸ˜‰

  2. Just wanted to let you know how much I am enjoying your recipes and anecdotes. I am also excited to see that you’re in Ann Arbor–I’m a Michigan alum!

  3. Thank you for following my recipemenagerie blog! After viewing your site, I am impressed at your spirit and versatility. I can see you’re a high energy person: Going to med school and cooking too! I took two classes in a nutrition science curriculum; loved learning about nutrition but the science wore me out. Best of luck – you go girl!

  4. Your posts are great! I am enjoying reading all your hard work! Nice work on the Med school! So happy to read more on your blog. any posts with go go dancer in it get a dadys attention…go go dancer u r too much!

  5. Hi, just wanted to drop a line and say thanks for stopping by my blog! Many thanks for becoming a follower also, though, I do feel I need to warn you that most posts will not include tales of yummy food but revolve around a story in the works being completed via blog. The story includes two vegetarian vampires (meaning human is not on the menu) and a zombie who can only eat fish though – hopefully that helps!

  6. Always dreamed of being a Domesstic Diva, but I have never made it … love the profile name. I’m a Diva in with my pots and pans – plus sometimes when I travel.
So I’m going to follow you now and … smiles I can’t get enough off. Have a great weekend.

  7. Thanks for the follow! I like what you’ve done here, especially the catch phrase of being raised as the perfect housewife before you went to med school … that had me laughing a bit.

I’ll be coming by to check your blog out πŸ™‚ Keep up the great work and I hope you stop by again, too!

  8. Why don’t you skip dating altogether and go straight to housewife and MD?? You have a way with words, a talent for food, and the ability to help people and earn a living; sounds like all the right ingredients.

      1. Congratulations! I am sure your mother is more than pleased at all your achievements – and you still have time to add many more to the list.
Thanks for stopping by to read my blog. While the focus isn’t food, that’s the commodity that gets all of us through each day and, if it isn’t fun to buy, cook, prepare, and eat, life isn’t worth living.
Good for you for being so interested, persistent, and adaptable – a winning combination in the kitchen and in life.

  9. Hello! Since you’re following our site, I wanted to mention that we’re moving our site to our main homepage at and also invite you to follow us over there since the current site will be going away. Thanks a bunch and God bless!

  12. Thank you for following my blog. Yours is amazing. I mean, I cannot cook well. There were times that I bake simple cookies. But I am limited to that. I wish I could cook good food like you do. WIll look forward to more of your recipes πŸ™‚

  13. Hi domestic diva! Great blog, I love your writing style and your stories! I’ve never been one to use recipes (this could be laziness, but I prefer to look at it creative!) but I think I’ll start now that there’s a little story with every recipe πŸ™‚

  19. Hello! Or should I say – G’day! Thanks for following my blog at

I am sort of like you – in that my mother did all she could to raise a housewife, but I seriously let her down. Until I turned 40, and that’s exactly what I’ve become since then…and, I sort of like it! Well, I like the cooking part now – and that’s something I despised for so many years.

I love your blog – it makes me laugh and you have some great recipes.

All the best for your upcoming surgery!

I know you follow me on here but I am moving my page to my own self hosted site. I’d love to keep in contact and stuff. I will still be doing the same things over here but with a little bit more freedom. I’m gonna still post crafts, articles on health, disabilities and recipes. Now, I am starting on that blog to write book reviews and product reviews. I’d really like to see ya over there sometime. My new blog is at

  30. I’m definitely enjoying following your blog – both the food and the sass can make my day. Just realized you’re at U of M – I did my grad school there, and have twice lived in the A-squared area – missing it now! You once kindly liked my blog post on braces-friendly cooking for tender teeth. I very much appreciate that and now want to tell you I’ve launched a new-and-improved braces-friendly website at, with the blog all rolled into it. Maybe you can pass along the info to someone you know in braces. Best wishes with your studies and work and domestic adventures.

  31. Hi Ma’m, I’m really honoured to gain your recognition! It’s really a confidence booster for a newbie food blogger like me. I’ll try to bring more uniquely Singaporean food onto the ‘table’, and once again, thank you so much for following my blog at πŸ™‚

  32. Thanks for taking the time to find me at! It has helped me find your blog, and I can’t wait to start reading it! I hope you continue to find what I have to share interesting! πŸ™‚

  33. Hey, thanks for the follow! I stopped by your blog to check it out and now I’m hooked! 4 years of undergrad and 3 of law school were enough for me – I don’t know how you doctors do it, and your posts have humor and recipes to boot πŸ™‚

  34. Thanks for the follow! I came here and read a few posts and couldn’t stop chuckling. And the wine jelly looked really good, so I couldn’t not follow you back.

  35. I’m amazed that you have an up to date blog during residency!! How do you find the time?! I’m a pharmacist, and I don’t work nearly as much as you.. but I am having a hard time finding time to try and get a blog going. Some tips/advice would be greatly appreciated!

    1. What I do is write as many posts/recipes as possible when I do have time. WordPress has apps for the iPhone/Droid, so then if I have a quick second during the day I can just submit one of the posts I’ve already written. It’s also relaxing for me to cook and blog, and I know I’m far less stressed and far more healthy when I’m eating things I’ve cooked myself.

I’ve got a few friends at work who also blog so we remind each other to post regularly. Plus my boyfriend always tells me to bring out the camera whenever I’ve cooked dinner!

I hope those tips help! Let me know if you’d like any more. πŸ™‚

  36. Hi, thanks for stopping by Trinity’s Kitchen! Hope I can give you some inspiration for your own cooking adventures, it looks like you have some fantastically creative ideas! I’m looking forward to reading more πŸ™‚

  37. Hi Megs!

Hope you’re well and the hand has healed! I wanted to thank you for being a subscriber to my blog and let you know of some changes to my site.

A couple of months ago, I moved to a self hosted site. While the link remains the same and I could move all my subscribers over without a hitch, I just found out that my WordPress followers like yourself would have to visit my new site and resubscribe to it if you wanted to keep receiving email notifications every time I posted (which I’m hoping you do!).

I just wanted to bring this to your attention. I’m reaching to all my lovely fellow WordPress followers because I’ve loved the interaction I’ve had with all of them even if it was just a plain old ‘like’!

Have a great day and happy holidays!
